I find it rather amusing how u use 2 log in names on the NZ music
website to diss successful bands and shamelessly promote your own
"music".
I find it equally entertaining how you frequently refer to how bad 'selling out
" is, yet your cd collection includes Third eye blind and Van fuckin Morrison
to name just a few.
You and your "alternative" atitude is utter bullshit and your slaging off my
Band and our songwriting skills is pure jealousy.
I know that you would kill to be in our position and don't deny it.
If you spent more time supporting Successful Musicians, perhaps people
like myself would help u and your band out.
But i guess you'd rather remain underground and "cool", cos playing that
shitty Peavy bass 4 the rest of your life and making no money is alot more
credible than playing music that the general public like.
Good luck finding a job.

Well cheers buddy for that enlightening email.
I think you are missing a few things here. My "shameless" promotion of
my music is a joke, my band is a joke, our songs are done to mock people,
such as yourself. Also I don't use two login names, for your information, the
other person is my fellow "mocker", he's in my band, in which we make
music to mock people, in the style of TISM.
Hassling me because I can't afford a better bass, well thats just pure
stupidity, plus its not the bass that makes the player, its the player that
makes the bass, and I work hard on my bass and play hard, in all styles (I
play in a Jazz/Funk band and rock bands).
I'm not all "alternative" as you seem to think I am. I hate mainstream
POP music, but there is some decent rock stuff out there. I just
listen to GOOD music - that means any style, as long as it has a good
tune, talented songwriting and decent lyrics. 4 chord songs about kids being
called Bruce, attempting at some dry humour doesn't really compare
with bands such as Shihad. And how Third Eye Blind and Van Morrison are
sellouts, who knows. Van Morrison has a great voice and is a LEGEND.
I actually also play guitar, and sing. I write my own songs, and they are
about better things than funny boys and kids called bruce, and the only
reason they aren't bigger than Rubicons songs is that I'm not on shortland
street.
I dont want people like you to "help my band out", I never would, and I
am not jealous. If you had made your way to the top of the NZ industry
through hard work and good music, I would be happy. But through the
disgusting whore that is the music industry, you are there for some god unknown
reason.
Look, just go on making your music, I'm not going to stop you, I'm just
not going to listen unless it gets good. Of course this is a matter of opinion
though.

I don't "repriauckinzent" anything, I don't even know what you mean by
this. I represent the small band of people who still like music for MUSIC,
not the people that do it.
